So how does an underperforming military student become an underperforming military officer and still get promoted within the United Stated Army? With some affirmative action and a whole lot of political correctness, of course. From the NY Post:
A dirty big secret in our Army has been that officers' promotion boards have quotas for minorities. We don't call them quotas, of course. But if a board doesn't hit the floor numbers, its results are held up until the list has been corrected. It's almost impossible for the Army's politically correct promotion system to pass over a Muslim physician.
So you have an underperforming student of the Muslim variety, who gets his degree and automatically jumps to the top of the promotion list because of quotas. He then goes on a spree of spewing hate for Americans and never gets held accountable and the rest, as they say, is history.
Hopefully, this will be a teachable moment and some changes will be made to the system to ensure crazy jihadists, hell bent on killing Americans, have no place in our Armed Services.
