After going 0-4 on the stump for the gubernatorial races in NJ and VA, the Senate race in MA, and the Chicago Olympic bid in Copenhagen, the White House announced today that President Obama will extend the same favor to struggling Senator Harry Reid:
The White House is about to make another big gesture demonstrating its support for Senator Harry Reid, the majority leader under fire for remarks he made about President Obama's race.
In February, Mr. Obama will head to Nevada to appear with Mr. Reid, who is facing a tough reelection battle there, aides said today.
And thereby guaranteeing a Reid loss in the election. This is Chicago style deception at its finest – certain political death under the guise of lending a helping hand - and undoubtedly payback for Reid's comments when he referred to Obama as "light skinned" and without the "negro dialect." Obama is, after all, keeping score, brother!
