Sarah Pailin was the keynote speaker at the National Tea Party Convention in Tennessee last night and she brought the house down. Granted, she was speaking to a very friendly, pro-Palin audience but she absolutely destroyed the Obama administration and their handling of the economy and national security.
Palin noted the recent Democratic election losses and energized the crowd when she declared "America is ready for another revolution."
The speech was full of red meat and had a bunch of money quotes, including the one in the headline of this post, but the best was when Palin spoke of Obama's handling of the War on Terror Overseas Contingency Operation: "they [radical Islamic extremists] know we're at war and to win that war we need a commander in chief not a professor of law standing at the lectern."
Ouch!
