Federal officials are hoping film director James Cameron can help them come up with ideas on how to stop the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The "Avatar" and "Titanic" director was among a group of scientists and other experts who met Tuesday with officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and other federal agencies for a brainstorming session on stopping the massive oil leak.

These morons have created a petition in his defense, that includes the likes of Michel Mann, Martin Scorsese, John Landis, Jonathan Demme and, ahem, Woody Allen.
And just to show the level of distortion in their thought processes, this is the same group that attempted to ruin the life of Elia Kazan, who has since been blackballed by the Hollywood establishment, because he testified against Communists back in the 1950’s. I repeat, they were upset that he testified againstCommunists!
So for those scoring at home, in Hollywood drugging and raping a 13 year old is good; testifying against Communism, bad. Please keep that in mind the next time one of these clueless, zealots expects you to shell out $10 for one of their movies.
