That's a whole lot of unhappy, freedom-loving patriots getting together at Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor rally to send the following message to the arrogant, elitist left: you do not know what's best for us and it's time for a change. 

So consider yesterday's gathering of half a million concerned citizens an omen of what's to come November 2nd.  Elections do have consequences.

The "worst president ever" label is starting to surface - and stick

And it only took 18 months.

Obama has been one big ass disappointment to say the least, and you just know the Hillary lovers are looking at their intra-party Obot rivals with a look of deep concern as the political carnage continues to pile up around them.

You can already see the Republicans in 2012 circling like vultures over what's left of President Hopenchange.  There is no doubt their platforms will be based on a theme of competent leadership, something we have yet to see from the artist formerly known as the Smartest President Ever. Throw in some economic expertise and a dash of fiscal responsibility and you pretty much have the recipe for your next president - a Republican.

So, how's that Muslim appeasement strategy working out, Mr. President?

Not too well actually.  From National Review:

Barack Obama entered office with high hopes of improving the U.S. image among Muslims worldwide. He hauled out his middle name, gave his first interview as president to Al-Arabiya television, quoted hadith, gave major speeches in Istanbul and Cairo, and talked ceaselessly of “respect” for Muslims. Where has all this gotten him?

Um, predictably not too far:

With the exception of Mauritania, it’s a statistical wash from the Bush years, with every Muslim nation polled trending downward on The One and his Muslim faith approach since mid-2009.

Can we just go back to the old way of recognizing that radical Muslims want to kill us all?  Personally, I felt much safer when we had a government in place that seemed to understand the threat from Islamic extremists as very real.  It would also be somewhat refreshing to have some leaders who also realized it's not possible to make friends with people who want to kill you.

Too bad those Mauritanians can’t vote though, Obama’s could use their support right now.  Although, some of them might be voting in the not so distant future.

Record low!

A new low in the passion index:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22. That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for this president (see trends).

An interesting subset of the poll is the breakdown in support by gender:

Among men, 20% Strongly Approve and 50% Strongly Disapprove. Among women, those numbers are 27% and 40%.

That's some serious dissatisfaction by men with half strongly disapproving.  That does not bode well for The One. Not to mention, that this oil spill – and the lack of a federal response – is going to hurt as we move forward.  If this thing isn’t plugged soon, Obama may surpass Bush’s poll numbers at the end of his 2nd term, and that is not what Team Obama had in mind two months ago.

Obama to be boys with terrorists moderate members of Hezbollah

Deputy National Security Advisor John Brennan talks about how great it would be to be all buddy buddy with a terrorist organization that killed 220 Marines, 18 Navy personnel and three Army soldiers:

Yep, that’s right.  The Obama administration is looking to reach out to “moderate” Hezbollah members that murdered 241 American soldiers in 1983.  That’s like reaching out to “moderate” 9/11 hijackers. 

As we all know, there is no such thing as a moderate terrorist but that is a real world scenario, not something you'd find in a peer reviewed paper by these intellectual idiots who have no clue on real world scenarios.   

The Obama disconnect resurfaces while commenting on the beheading of Daniel Pearl

In the video below, President Obama tells reporters that the death of NY Times reporter Daniel Pearl - at the hands of terrorists -  “captured the world’s imagination.”  Memo to The One – a release of a new iPhone captures the world’s imagination, not beheadings by Islamic radicals:

I watched that video and the last thing it did was “capture” my imagination.  I was horrified at the brutality and literally sickened by it.  If I “imagined” anything it was how the U.S. would “capture” those animals and execute them in a similar fashion. 

Thankfully, they were captured but unfortunately have been living for far too long is U.S. custody and have been granted all the comforts of home as they await civilian trials for an unspeakable war crime.

As always, there was no mention of terrorist, jihad or Islamic radicals from Obama just some comments on his birdie on the 15th yesterday.  With recent history in mind, the only other thing missing from Obama was some sort of apology to Muslims. 

Netanyahu takes a counter shot at Obama's disrespect toward Israel

 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the “enlightened nations of the world" to condemn Iran’s pursuit of building a nuclear weapon and, in my humble opinion, sent a message to President Obama in doing so:

“I call on the enlightened nations of the world to loudly condemn Iran’s destructive intentions, and to act resolutely to stop it from arming itself with nuclear weapons,” he said before hundreds of Holocaust survivors and their families, political leaders, diplomats and others.

The world has so far failed to adequately denounce Tehran, Netanyahu said.

“Iran’s leaders are barreling toward developing a nuclear weapon, and openly declaring their desire to destroy Israel. In the face of these repeated pledges to remove the Jewish state from the earth, we encounter in the best case a limp reaction, and even that is fading,” he said. “We do not hear the necessary rejection, no harsh denunciation, no outcry. The world is carrying on as usual, and there are those who direct their fire at us, at Israel.”

And by that, he means Team Obama.  Obama has been appeasing our enemies and alienating our allies – an interesting foreign policy strategy no matter your side of the aisle – and his administration has done nothing but display outright contempt toward Israel since day one. 

My question remains the same: why?  I have my theories and they’re not good.

Bottom line: with friends like that, who needs no-executive-experience-community-organizers-with-radical-beliefs with ZERO foreign policy experience anyway?

Why does Obama hate Israel so much?

The man has shown more respect toward Iran – and other hostile nations – than he has toward the people of Israel and its leaders, our freaking allies. Today, President Obama banned photographers from his meeting with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

Netanyahu has a meeting and photo op with the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) at 3:15PM. He then is due to meet with Obama tonight at the White House, no photos, no press.

But slapping daps with Hugo Chavez is all good for photo ops? WTF is that about? It's not the first time Obama has nixed photo ops with Netanyahu either.

For a guy who once spoke about his "Muslim faith" and released a youTube video wishing all Muslims a happy Ramadan, his actions toward Israel are a bit curious, if not worrisome.
